In the heart of Parkville, Missouri, Park University is set to showcase two art exhibits in the coming months. The exhibits will take place at the University's Parkville Campus, specifically in the Campanella Gallery, Norrington Center.

The first exhibit, scheduled from May 5 to June 6, 2025, will feature the works of Lucie Garrett, Rhiannon Lewis, and Danielle Smith. Lucie Garrett, a senior fine art major from Kansas City, Mo., specializes in mixed media art, combining ceramics, sculpture, and fiber to explore maximalism. Rhiannon Lewis, a senior fine art major from Kansas City, Mo., creates colorful, bright works inspired by coy fish using fiber, ceramics, and other mediums. Danielle Smith's art explores fashion and textiles.

A reception for the trio will be held on May 9, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Campanella Gallery.

The second exhibit, running from Monday, June 16, to Friday, July 18, will feature the works of Sofia McCroskie, Cameron McMeekin, and Cheri Regis. Sofia McCroskie is a multimedia artist, while Cheri Regis is a painter, doll-maker, and multidisciplinary artist. Cameron McMeekin, a senior fine art major from Springfield, Mo., examines themes of nature through photography.

A reception for the second exhibit's artists will be held on Friday, June 20, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Campanella Gallery.

It's worth noting that the Campanella Gallery's regular business hours for these exhibits are: Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and the building will be closed on certain holidays: May 26 for Memorial Day, June 19 for Juneteenth, and July 4 for Independence Day.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information on Park University art exhibits in 2025, I recommend consulting Park University’s official website or contacting their art department or gallery directly. University galleries typically publish exhibit dates and artist information on their own platforms closer to the show dates.
