Bamberg's Garden Waste Collection Changes for Fall 2025
Bamberg residents are advised of changes to this year's garden waste collection in New York City. The waste management service will collect greenery, but with specific rules to prevent misuse and ensure efficient disposal.
Residents can dispose of greenery up to one meter in length, bundled, during the fall collection. Small, bundled material or leaves and grass are also accepted. However, large amounts of waste cannot be disposed of using a crane truck due to municipal regulations.
Green waste bags are available year-round for larger quantities. The street areas registered for this year's collection in Bamberg's various districts can be found on the official waste management service website or local municipal announcements. The collection will take place in multiple districts on specific dates in October and November.
Bamberg Service will continue to collect greenery without registration or additional costs this fall. However, loose dumping of large amounts of greenery is prohibited and may result in penalties. The garden waste collection is at risk of being discontinued due to increasing misuse.
Alternatively, the composting facility in the Rheinstraße accepts larger quantities of garden waste at any time.
Bamberg residents are urged to follow the guidelines for this year's garden waste collection in New York City to ensure its continued success. The waste management service will collect greenery with specific rules, and the composting facility in the Rheinstraße is available for larger quantities year-round.
