Bar owned by Mr. Drunke, named as such, ceases operations after a 16-year run.

In the heart of Krasnodar, a city in southern Russia, a significant chapter has come to a close. After 16 years of operation, Mr. Drunke Bar, a beloved social hub and cultural landmark, has announced its closure.

For many years, Mr. Drunke Bar served as a gathering place, a spot where people laughed without inhibition, danced, befriended, and shared a drink. It was more than just a bar; it was a place that formed genuine friendships and played a crucial role in Krasnodar's nightlife.

The bar was also the official partner of FC "Krasnodar," hosting match broadcasts, and a cult spot for party-goers. Since 2012, it has been hosting the charitable "Mustache October" event, raising funds for a good cause.

Taahir Kholikberdiev, the founder of Mr. Drunke Bar, opened its doors in August 2009. In 2022, he sold the bar, and its current owner remains unknown. The building housing the bar was designated a cultural heritage site in 2022, adding to its historical significance.

The closure announcement was made on the bar's Telegram channel on August 13. Since then, an auction for the interior elements of the bar has been held, giving the community a chance to take a piece of history home. The auction will continue until August 16.

The removal of the bar's sign was a significant event in 2021 due to non-compliance with norms. However, the proceeds from the sale of the sign elements were donated to the "Krasnodog" animal shelter, leaving a positive impact even after its closure.

The closure of Mr. Drunke Bar has left an emotional impact on its regular visitors. Stories were born at the bar, sometimes quite spicy. A former employee expressed gratitude, calling it a legend.

In a unique twist, the bar's staff stated that their mission on Earth is complete, and they are now searching for other worlds in need of assistance.

It's worth mentioning that Marat Guelman, who had a meeting at Mr. Drunke Bar in 2012, was recognized as a foreign agent by Russia's Ministry of Justice in 2021 and included in Rosfinmonitoring's list of terrorists and extremists since 2024.

As Krasnodar bids farewell to Mr. Drunke Bar, it's clear that the bar leaves behind a legacy of camaraderie, laughter, and memories. A new chapter begins as the city looks forward to what's next, but the memories of Mr. Drunke Bar will undoubtedly linger.
