Bridgebuilders in Krasnoyarsk planning to extend a pedestrian bridge from BC "Balance" to the parking lot
In the heart of Krasnoyarsk, a pedestrian bridge might be making an appearance on Ul. Maerchak, connecting the business center "Balans" and a multi-level parking lot. This will be the second phase of the parking lot's construction.
The pedestrian crossing project on Ul. Maerchak and the results of the engineering inspections, as stated in the Unified State Register of Conclusion Reports, have been endorsed by a non-governmental assessment. Officially, this capital construction project is named
"Open multi-level terrain car parking with a pedestrian crossing on Ul. Maerchak in Kransoyarsk. The second phase of construction: pedestrian bridge."
Originally, the bridge was part of the developer's plan as indicated by the development plan which was presented at public hearings in 2021.
According to the enclosure of the expert opinion, OOO "Azorit" is listed as the developer. Vasiliy Popov, who is also the founder of GSK "Arban," is publicly known as the company's founder. Arban constructed the business center first, followed by the parking lot with a gap of several years.
The exact start date of construction hasn't been determined yet due to the current economic situation. However, this project holds significant importance.

Maerchak will be a crucial step towards improving the infrastructure of the Balans Business Center and the city as a whole, providing a direct link between the multi-level overhead parking and the business center. The bridge will shorten travel time for tenants and office workers and help avoid crossing with vehicular traffic, which is particularly important in busy traffic conditions, making a pedestrian crossing unsafe and time-consuming. Reducing travel time between the parking lot and offices will boost overall worker productivity and make the Business Center more convenient," stated a spokesperson from Arban.
