The 4th Annual Prom for a Purpose fundraiser, hosted by the Family Nurturing Center (FNC), is set to take place on May 16, from 7-11 p.m. at Turfway Park Racing and Gaming in Florence. This much-anticipated event promises a night of nostalgia and purpose, with all proceeds benefitting FNC's free programs and services.

The Prom for a Purpose Celebrity Prom Court is a highlight of the evening, featuring local business and government leaders, media personalities, and community advocates. This year's court includes Alek Lucke, a Cincinnati real estate professional and community advocate, passionate about engaging young leadership in community efforts and ensuring youth have every opportunity to succeed.

Jan-Michele Lemon Kearney, vice mayor of the City of Cincinnati, is also involved in the event, as is Maureen Bickley, vice office partner-in-charge at Frost Brown Todd. Sara Elyse, co-host of WEBN's The Kidd Chris Show, Mikhayla Hughes-Shaw, co-host of WCPO-9's Cincy Lifestyle television show, and former Miss Iowa 2018, and Michael Betz, president and managing partner of The Proper Group, are among the other participants in the Celebrity Prom Court.

Corrie Loeffler, executive director of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, is also involved in fundraising efforts for the Family Nurturing Center.

The top fundraisers will be crowned as Prom Royals during the event. Last year's Prom for a Purpose fundraiser enabled FNC to serve thousands of individuals. This year, the event aims to expand its impact even further.
