Chambers Ireland Sustainable Business Impact Awards 2025: Our two web projects make the cut for nomination

The Sustainable Business Impact Awards 2025, organised by Chambers Ireland, are set to recognise best practices in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility by companies of all sizes across Ireland. The awards ceremony will take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Northwood Park, Santry Demesne, Dublin, on Wednesday, 24th September 2025.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are central to the Sustainable Business Impact Awards. These goals, which encompass sustainable development, social impact, health and wellbeing, inclusivity, and responsible business, form the backbone of the awards. While the specific SDGs targeted by the awards are not explicitly listed, they broadly focus on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, consistent with the UN SDGs.

Chambers Ireland's practices align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as demonstrated by their continued alignment with these Goals. Codema's recognition in the Health & Wellbeing category at the same awards indicates alignment with SDGs related to workplace wellbeing, inclusivity, and corporate social responsibility, suggesting involvement with Goal 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth).

The Sustainable Business Impact Awards are designed to reflect corporate social responsibility and celebrate purpose-driven business practices. The awards have recognised a firm for providing critical legal support to unaccompanied refugee minors through partnership in the category 'Volunteering & Pro Bono Services'. Another firm has been recognised for its Women's Aid Partnership in the category 'Partnership with Charity (LIC)'.

The awards ceremony will be held in association with the Department of Rural and Community Development. For more information about the Sustainable Business Impact Awards, visit the official website at Sustainable Business Impact Awards | Chambers Ireland. The awards are sponsored by BAM Ireland.

  1. Beyond corporate recognition, winning a Sustainable Business Impact Award signifies a company's commitment to sustainable living, as demonstrated by their alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, such as Good Health and Wellbeing and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
  2. Aside from the home-and-garden sector, various businesses are now integrating sustainable practices into their operations, striving for a sustainable lifestyle that aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and, potentially, competing for recognition at events like the Sustainable Business Impact Awards.
