In recent months, several new StadtRAD stations have been established in the southern Harburg area, providing more opportunities for residents and visitors to rent bicycles or bikes.

One of the latest additions is the StadtRAD station on Ernst-Bergeest-Way in Marmstorf, which officially opened in November. After the installation, 12 bicycles, including an e-cargo bike for heavy transport, are now available for rental. However, it's important to note that the e-cargo bike requires reservation before use.

The installation of the station came with some changes to the road layout, as six parking spaces were lost to make way for the bike station and the adjacent mobility point. The road was dug up to lay connection cables for the station.

Another operational station can be found on Triftstraße in the southern Harburg area.

While the responsible entity for the establishment of additional StadtRAD stations in the southern Harburg and surrounding area, including the planned station at Strucksbarg, has not been explicitly stated, the initiative to expand the StadtRAD network is evident.

In addition to these stations, a new StadtRAD station is planned for Strucksbarg. Further details about the responsible entity and the timeline for the station's establishment are yet to be announced.

A notable example of a successful StadtRAD station is the one operational at the Sklepios Clinic.

Lastly, a StadtRAD station has also been opened in the Gohlbachtal, further expanding the reach of this bike-sharing service in the Harburg region.

As the StadtRAD network continues to grow, more and more people are finding it easier and more convenient to travel by bike, contributing to a greener and more sustainable lifestyle.
