Dubai Unveils the Second Installment of the #RamadanInDubai Initiative, Honoring the Essence of the Sacred Month
The city of Dubai is gearing up for the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign, a unique initiative aimed at enriching the Ramadan experience for both residents and visitors. Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the campaign is a collaborative effort between the government, semi-government, and private sector entities. Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has formed partnerships with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai Municipality, and Dubai Police for this year's campaign. The campaign aligns with the UAE's 'Year of Community' initiative, aiming to strengthen cooperation and celebrate shared experiences. It encourages acts of kindness within the community during Ramadan, while also highlighting the city's unique Ramadan celebrations and showcasing its rich Emirati traditions. One of the key features of this year's campaign is the 'Best Decorated Ramadan Homes' competition, which has been launched in partnership with Ferjan Dubai. Layla Hassan will head the competition this year. The city's roads will also be adorned with Ramadan-themed installations as part of the campaign. Visitors to Dubai during the Holy Month can look forward to unforgettable experiences. The city will feature light installations, cultural performances, and festive markets. Iftar and suhoor will be available at iconic locations, offering a truly unique dining experience. In addition, the campaign includes community-driven humanitarian initiatives, such as providing meals for those in need. Visitors to Dubai will also receive special stamps on their passports during the campaign. Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council, and the Dubai Media Council (DMC) have joined forces with Brand Dubai to launch the second edition of the #RamadanInDubai campaign. The initiative promises to offer a blend of culture, compassion, and celebration, making this Ramadan in Dubai an experience not to be missed.
