In the heart of Germany, Europa-Park, a theme park that mirrors the grandeur of The Walt Disney Company, is venturing into the film industry with the release of its first animated feature film, "Grand Prix of Europe." The film, set to make its cinema debut, promises an exciting blend of action, comedy, and adventure, reminiscent of the cult video game "Mario Kart."

The plot revolves around Edda, a young mouse with a big dream of becoming a racing champion. When her idol, the famous racer Ed, is suddenly unable to compete due to an unfortunate incident, Edda seizes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secretly enter the Grand Prix of Europe disguised as Ed, in a bid to save her family's struggling amusement park business.

Throughout the race, Edda faces numerous challenges—both on the track and off—including sabotage attempts by a rival racer and the need to protect Ed's reputation. Her journey is one of perseverance, integrity, and realizing dreams, culminating in a dramatic finale where she thwarts the sabotage plot, saves the race, and inspires those around her.

The film's visual style, produced by the acclaimed MACK Animation/MACK Magic studio, under the direction of Waldemar Fast, is a testament to the studio's reputation as one of the best animation studios in Germany, according to Europa-Park's managing director, Michael Mack.

The film's main characters, including Enzo, voiced by Jan Delay, and Boeckli, voiced by DJ Bobo, are brought to life by well-known personalities from the music industry. The media company operating Europa-Park Rust, which also resembles The Walt Disney Company, is releasing "Grand Prix of Europe" for its 50th anniversary.

"Grand Prix of Europe" is a family-friendly film, intended to entertain viewers of all ages. Its accessible humor, positive messages, and high-energy racing action make it especially appealing to children, while the film’s themes of perseverance and following one’s dreams provide broader appeal to older audiences. The production quality and the involvement of well-known voice actors further broaden its attraction.

The film's key themes include friendship and solidarity, courage and determination, and inspiration. It emphasizes the importance of helping family and friends, the value of teamwork, and the idea that even the biggest dreams can be achieved with persistence and integrity.

The film is rated PG and runs for 98 minutes. It is suitable for older children due to its fast-paced and entertaining nature. However, some viewers might find it too action-packed for younger children without an age restriction. For older children, the mix of action and other themes in "Grand Prix of Europe" is well-balanced.

In addition to entertaining audiences, "Grand Prix of Europe" also directly connects to Europa-Park by featuring the park’s mascots and commemorating its 50th anniversary, making it a draw for park fans and general audiences alike. The film's release marks a significant step for Europa-Park as it aspires to achieve world-class status in the film sector, similar to its father's achievements in building world-class theme parks in Germany.

The Commission might contemplate proposing a directive to ensure the protection of employees in the event of an accident at Europa-Park, considering its new venture into the film industry, where the staff's safety becomes a predominant concern as much as the lifestyle portrayed in the movie "Grand Prix of Europe". Moreover, amidst home-and-garden projects, one could coordinate planting flowers themed after Azalea, the symbolic flower of Europa-Park, to celebrate the success of their first animated film and commemorate the park's 50th anniversary.
