Festivities at Egelsbach's Alte Schule: music, wine, and socializing in the school's courtyard
The much-anticipated 28th Egelsbach Wine Festival is set to return from August 15 to 17, 2025, at the courtyard of the Old School (Rheinstraße 72). This three-day event promises to be a meeting point for all generations, offering a delightful mix of wine, food, and music.
Organised by the Egelsbach-Erzhausen Brass Band, the festival will feature a diverse lineup of musical performances. The opening event on Friday evening at 7:00 PM will showcase the Egelsbach-Erzhausen Brass Band, setting the tone for an evening filled with traditional brass music. From 9:00 PM onwards, the band Caro will take over the stage, adding a contemporary twist to the musical programme.
On Saturday, the Egelsbach Village Musicians will perform traditional brass music at 5:00 PM, followed by Caro from 8:00 PM. The festival's musical finale on Sunday at 11:00 AM will once again be provided by the Egelsbach-Erzhausen Brass Band.
The Wine Festival offers a variety of wines from the Bergstraße and Pfalz regions, as well as Italian specialties from Egelsbach's Crescieri wine import. For those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, there will be a selection of soft drinks and beer available throughout the event.
Food will be provided throughout the festival, ensuring that attendees can enjoy a plethora of culinary delights alongside their chosen beverages.
