Gutersloh Offers Free Garden Waste Disposal on October 11 & 25
Gutersloh residents have upcoming opportunities to dispose of garden waste for free. The city has announced specific dates and locations for compostable waste drop-offs, with certain rules and restrictions in place.
On October 11 and 25, 2025, residents can deliver leaves and hedge trimmings at the Composting Facility and Recycling Center, free of charge. Additionally, on October 25, 2025, compostable garden waste can be dropped off at collection points between 7 am and 2 pm.
Deliveries outside the specified hours on October 25 will be considered an administrative offense. Only household quantities are permitted, and deliveries must be made in cars or car trailers, not trucks. Waste from outside the city of Guetersloh is subject to fees according to the district's fee ordinance.
