In Astana's Amphitheater, the 21st Labor Season of the Student Construction and Youth Labor Teams 'Zhasyl El' Kicks Off
The theme for this summer's labor season in the capital city is "Astana - a Symbol of Cleanliness and Order." Over the years, the team has welcomed numerous schoolchildren, students, and summer workers.
This year, the team aims to recruit 5,200 individuals who will be tasked with greening city parks, squares, and school grounds. The labor season will last four months, beginning in May and ending in August. Students and youth workers will earn a salary of 64,564 tenge and will be provided with necessary equipment. The number of applicants has been steadily increasing; last year, 4,200 people joined the team. This year, the membership has grown significantly.
Yerlan AIDAR, a chief specialist of Astana's youth policy department, noted that the project focuses on underage participants from socially vulnerable categories. According to department representatives, underage workers will adhere to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, working no more than four hours per day.

The team plans to expand their activities beyond construction, engaging in home-and-garden projects and promoting a lifestyle centered around gardening in city parks and school grounds this summer. As part of their efforts to engage more individuals, they aim to recruit an additional 900 members, making a total of 6,100 participants for the 21st Labor Season.
