In Val D'Orcia, Urs Rechsteiner sponsors a remarkable photographic narrative
Reprinted Trilogy Highlights Tuscan Art and Culture
A unique collection of artworks, interpreted by 28 of the world's most renowned artists, is once again available for a wider audience. The Trilogy, titled "Santa Maria, place of inspirations," is being reprinted due to its sold-out first edition.
Initially given to enthusiasts and supporters of the rediscovery of the Tuscan natural and artistic park, the Trilogy is closely associated with the area. The FUR Foundation, a non-profit organization based in Montepulciano, has acquired this extraordinary collection. Urs Rechsteiner, a Swiss national who has been in love with Tuscany for 30 years, is the founder of the FUR Foundation.
The Trilogy is a tale about places, people, and works of art in Pienza and the province of Siena, and the Val'Orcia. It features photographs taken by Mattia Balsamini, Andrea Boccalini, and Cristina Cusani, who were inspired by the Sentiero dell'Arte e dell'Anima of Pienza. This cultural and artistic path, inaugurated in March 2024 and donated to the city by the FUR Foundation, intertwines the historical, spiritual, and artistic heritage of the area, providing visitors an immersive experience into the soul and art of the region.
The value of the artistic heritage in the Trilogy is estimated at around one million euros. This publication, which presumably complements the Sentiero dell'Arte e dell'Anima experience by documenting its themes, artworks, and historical context, has received international media attention and has been celebrated by the New York Times.
The Trilogy is related to the photographs taken by the photographers of Place, People, and Estate&Art. The first edition of the Trilogy was not sold but given to enthusiasts and supporters. Now, with its reprint, more people can experience this captivating journey through Tuscan art and culture.
The Trilogy's captivating journey through Tuscan art and culture, now reprinted for a larger audience, portrays a lifestyle deeply rooted in the home-and-garden, mirroring the region's artistic park. This extraordinary home-and-garden lifestyle embodied in the Trilogy stimulates the appreciation of its estimated one million euros' worth of artworks.
