Kia EV9 GT: A Powerful Electric Three-Row SUV
At the LA Auto Show, Kia revealed the EV9 GT, a three-row electric powerhouse with an estimated 501 horsepower. The EV9 GT retains its 5,000-pound towing capacity and 800-volt charging architecture, enabling a 10-80% charge in under 25 minutes. The EV9 GT offers Kia's first electronically controlled suspension, larger front brakes, Virtual Gear Shift (VGS), and an electronic Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) for enhanced performance.
Hyundai's IONIQ 9: An Upscale, Adventure-Ready Electric SUV
Hyundai is set to release the IONIQ 9, an upscale, adventure-ready electric SUV, in Q1, 2025. The IONIQ 9 will be made in a plant in Georgia and offers a spacious interior, modern aerodynamic design, reassuring range, and the IONIQ family's signature digital pixel lighting. The IONIQ 9 will feature quick charging, bi-directional charging, and a range of up to 620 km (WLTP).
The IONIQ 9 will offer a panoramic curved display, Hyundai AI Assistant, and over-the-air updates. Enhanced suspension, dynamic torque control, and self-leveling dampers ensure a smooth ride.
