The much-anticipated Cossack Culture Festival "Cossack Stew" has been rescheduled to September 14, 2025. This vibrant event will take place in the picturesque village of Generalskoye, located approximately 100 kilometers from Omsk in the Odessky District.

Organised by the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Omsk Region, the festival promises a day filled with cultural immersion and entertainment. Visitors can expect a diverse program that includes a concert titled "Sing, Steppe Soul", an exhibition-fair "Cossack Market", a tasting competition "Odesa-style Stew", a quest game "Ermak's Way", an exhibition "Cossack Antiquities", a family relay, and the unique competition "Fishing in Muddy Water".

In the "Fishing in Muddy Water" competition, participants will try their luck at catching fish with their bare hands in an artificial pond. This unconventional fishing method is sure to draw crowds and add an exciting twist to the festival.
