In the picturesque district of Fürstenfeldbruck, Southern Germany, the construction of a new luxury wellness facility, the Vabali Wellness Temple, has commenced on Sabbadini Street. The investor, Theune Spa Management GmbH, is pouring a substantial 60 million euros into this project.

The facility, set to span over 40,000 square meters in the Geiselbullach industrial park, boasts a stunning view of the Stürzer pond. Upon completion, expected in spring 2023, the wellness landscape will welcome approximately 500 visitors daily.

The Vabali Wellness Temple will offer a comprehensive wellness experience, featuring 14 saunas, 4 steam baths, 2 pools, 4 warm water pools, a lake access, a restaurant, bars, massage options, day spa suites, relaxation rooms, and a hotel with approximately 120 beds.

The city of Olching is delighted with the investments being made, with Mayor Magg viewing the construction as a great blessing for the city and its citizens. The operator expects commercial tax revenues to be in the high six- to seven-figure range.

The facility will be open for 14 hours a day, with the exact opening hours yet to be determined by Vabali Spa. The pricing structure is identical at all locations, ranging from 29.50 euros to 53.50 euros, depending on the duration of stay.

In addition to the wellness facilities, approximately 500 parking spaces are planned on the site, some with electric charging stations. Where feasible, green roofs and photovoltaic systems, as well as carports with PV systems, are planned to minimise environmental impact.

The entire facility will be textile-free, with a bathrobe mandatory in the lounge and restaurant areas and on paths. The operator promises the creation of approximately 250 jobs.

Interestingly, the street leading to the wellness facility is named Sabbadini Street, after a Munich merchant named Alois Sabbadini, who was one of the castle lords of Schloss Geiselbullach.

Following the success of their previous establishments in Berlin (2014), Düsseldorf (2017), and Hamburg (2022), Theune Spa Management GmbH has already begun planning for the next luxury temple in Vienna. However, the construction in Olching is yet to be completed.

For the most current status of the project, it would be good to check the official Vabali Spa website or recent local news for any updates.
