Get ready to delve into the fascinating history of Lünen as we announce the upcoming "Old Meets New" city tour. This captivating tour, guided by the knowledgeable Gabriele Germer, will take place on several Sundays this autumn, starting on September 7th and concluding on October 5th.

The tour, which lasts approximately 90 minutes, will commence at 3 pm at the town hall on Willy-Brandt-Platz. Gabriele Germer, a renowned guide in Lünen, will take you on a journey through time, highlighting the city's historical roots and its development in the 20th century.

The tour will weave its way through the southern city centre, showcasing historical streets, alleys, and medieval buildings, as well as newer structures from the 1950s, such as the town hall and the Scharoun School.
