Moeser Road Traffic Restrictions in Duisburg
Starting Monday, September 22, 2025, the Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg will take on the task of repairing the pavement on Moerser Straße in Bergheim, Germany. The work will be carried out between the intersections of Moerser Straße/Oestrumer Straße and Moerser Straße/Oberfeld.
During the repair period, the area will be partially closed and converted into a one-way street in the direction of Moers. Pedestrians and cyclists will still be able to pass through the area.
The initial repair work is scheduled to be completed by mid-October 2025. However, the work will continue thereafter, with the company resuming work on October 15, 2025.
For motorists heading towards Rheinhausen, a detour will be set up. Initially, the detour will route via Lange Straße and Kreuzacker onto Moerser Straße. However, this detour will be adjusted later, no longer routing via Lange Straße and Kreuzacker.
The "Oberfeld" street will reopen to traffic coming from Lange Straße at its intersection with Moerser Straße. On the contrary, traffic coming from the Lange Straße will be completely closed at its intersection with Moerser Straße.
Traffic restrictions will be in place during the repair work. The area between the intersections will temporarily be converted into a two-way street. The construction work is expected to be completed by late October 2025.
Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly as the traffic restrictions and detour will affect the routes from Moerser Straße/Oestrumer Straße to Moerser Straße/Oberfeld and traffic heading towards Rheinhausen.
The Wirtschaftsbetriebe Duisburg, an economic operations company, will be responsible for the repair work. The company is known for its expertise in such projects and is expected to complete the work efficiently and effectively.
