Opening Celebration for Red Grade Trail: Set for July 15th

The Sheridan Community Land Trust (SCLT) is hosting a Trail Opening Celebration on Tuesday, July 15, inviting all adventurers to join in the festivities. The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Base Trailhead of Red Grade Trails.

The celebration marks the opening of two new trails - Fire Up (hike/bike) and Upper Drifter (hike) - which now extend from the Aspens Trailhead. These new trails offer exciting new ways to explore the Bighorns region.

The trails were made possible through the hard work of K4 Trails, Montana Conservation Corps, AmeriCorps, Wyoming Pathways, SCLT's Conservation & Recreation Interns, and support from community donors and volunteers.

During the celebration, SCLT will provide burgers and beverages for attendees. So, come along and enjoy the opportunity to learn more about the Sheridan Community Land Trust while celebrating the opening of these new trails.

Construction on Upper Let 'Em Roll and Highlander Trail is set to resume in 2025, continuing the development of continuous routes from the Base to Bear Gulch at Red Grade Trails. Until then, the Sheridan Community Land Trust invites adventurers to use and enjoy the new trails.

Following the event, visitors are encouraged to use and enjoy these new trails until further development occurs on Upper Let 'Em Roll and Highlander Trail in 2025.
