New Tourism Initiative: The NiederrheinCard Launching Soon

The Niederrhein region is gearing up for an exciting new addition to its tourism offerings. The NiederrheinCard, a new pass offering exclusive benefits, discounts, and unique experiences at partner businesses, is set to launch later this month.

As of July 2025, there are no available search results explicitly stating the launch date or a list of participating businesses for the NiederrheinCard. However, a broader search reveals that the NiederrheinCard is intended for both guests and locals to discover various attractions, including museums, amusement parks, gastronomy, and outdoor activities.

The NiederrheinCard is available in two variants: a 4-day pass for short vacationers, priced at 29 euros, and a 1-year pass for locals and repeat visitors, priced at 49 euros. Both can be obtained as a digital ticket via email, a wallet ticket, or in the app of the system provider WELCMpass.

The benefits of the NiederrheinCard are expected to continue growing as potential partners are welcome to join at any time. The range of benefits from selected service providers in the Niederrhein region is vast and includes accommodation options and retail offers.

If you're interested in finding out more about the NiederrheinCard, including the official launch date and participating businesses, we recommend checking directly with the official Niederrhein regional or tourism websites, local government or chamber of commerce announcements, or the dedicated NiederrheinCard platforms or their social media channels. Nina Joergens is the contact person for the NiederrheinCard.

The NiederrheinCard ticket is equipped with a machine-readable QR code and is accepted by partner businesses, whether in printed form or on smartphones. This new pass presents an attractive opportunity for businesses and institutions to strengthen customer loyalty and reach new customer groups.

Martina Baumgaertner is the CEO of Niederrhein Tourism GmbH (NT), the organisation behind the NiederrheinCard. The NiederrheinCard aims to create a new way to discover well-known highlights and hidden gems in the Niederrhein region. With its launch just around the corner, it's an exciting time for the region's tourism industry. Stay tuned for more updates!
