Ranking the Top Playgrounds in Alexandria: Which One Takes the Crown?
Voting is now open for the ALXnow Readers' Choice Awards, and this year, we're focusing on Alexandria's best city playgrounds. With more than 40 city playgrounds to choose from, each IP address can cast only one vote to decide the winner.
The poll includes city-operated playgrounds from Angel Park to Woodbine Tot Lot. Among the contenders are some of Alexandria's most popular playgrounds.
Ben Brenman Park, for instance, boasts sprawling play equipment that caters to various age groups, from toddlers to older kids. Meanwhile, the playgrounds at Eugene Simpson Stadium Park offer athletic fields and courts for the more active children.
Jones Point Park offers scenic waterfront views, making it a favourite for families who enjoy a bit of nature with their playtime. Mason Avenue Mini Park, on the other hand, has a neighbourhood charm that appeals to many.
For those who prefer a more nature-integrated play experience, Fort Ward Park & Historic Site could be the perfect choice.
The poll is part of the current ALXnow Readers' Choice Awards, which highlights Alexandria's best businesses, organisations, services, and community spaces. To vote, simply visit the ALXnow Readers' Choice Awards website.
Voting ends on Aug. 27 at 11:59 p.m., so make sure to cast your vote before then. The winners of the poll will be announced following the close of voting.
At the time of writing, "Benny" is leading the poll with the most votes. Will you be able to dethrone them? Only time will tell.
