Returning UK's much-adored £7 tourist destination: a colossal labyrinth, sunset bar, and breathtaking photo locations included

Clearwell Farm, a three-generation family establishment, is set to open its sunflower patch and maize maze from Thursday, August 7th, until Sunday, August 31st. The farm, located between Cardiff and Newport, has been a cherished part of the community for over a century.

The farm attraction's daytime opening hours are from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday. Additionally, evening sunset sessions are available from Thursday to Sunday, offering a unique sunset maze and sunflower bar experience from 6pm to 10:30pm.

Throughout August, the farm will host a variety of activities for children, including a Disney princess meet, greet, and singalong, circus skills workshop, and dinosaur day. For adults, wellness evenings featuring guided yoga sessions in the sunflower patch at sunset, followed by music and bar vibes, will be held on Mondays to Wednesdays.

The maize maze covers a 10-acre area, and the cost of entry is £7 per person, with free admission for children under three. However, specific ticket pricing for event-specific tickets or additional activities may vary, so it's recommended to check Clearwell Farm's official website or contact them directly for updated information.

For those seeking a unique stay, one option is booking a converted train carriage for accommodation. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has two kitted out carriages and a station house available for rental, offering a charming and glamorous experience reminiscent of the Orient Express.

Camping is another affordable option for embracing the outdoors during the summer holidays. Pitchup has revealed its cheapest campsites with stays from just £10 per night this summer, located across the UK, some near pubs, microbreweries, and alpaca farms.

In 2020, David Phillips, the farm's owner, opened a sunflower patch spanning more than 13,000 square metres. This year, the patch will be part of the farm's attraction, along with the maize maze and other family-friendly activities such as exploring pigeon racing on select days.

If you plan to visit in August, consider booking ahead and checking Clearwell Farm’s official site for any event-specific tickets or pricing updates.

Exclusively in August, Clearwell Farm offers a blend of family-friendly activities and wellness events, encompassing their sunflower patch, home-and-garden-themed maize maze, and gardening workshops. As part of the lifestyle experience, wellness evenings featuring yoga will be available amidst the sunflowers.
