Royal Orchid Hotels Launches Paisa4Plates Initiative to Fight Hunger and Homelessness

Royal Caribbean Hotels, with over 120 properties across India, is set to launch a voluntary giving initiative in collaboration with Paisa4Plates. The program aims to tackle hunger and homelessness while fostering empathy among hotel guests.

Starting in late 2025, each Royal Caribbean hotel will choose a local cause to support, with guests given the option to contribute 0.5% of their bill to these initiatives. The program is a result of a partnership with Paisa4Plates, a sustainable and low-barrier charity movement led by Aryaveer Baljee. Guests will be informed about the initiative through table tents and other communication channels.

The initiative, beginning with ICONIQA Mumbai, will focus on feeding the homeless and providing mid-day meals to children. It is designed to be sustainable and low-barrier, with hotels acting as facilitators. Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the parent company of Royal Caribbean, remains committed to its corporate responsibility efforts through initiatives like Paisa4Plates. The local NGOs and food banks involved will partner with community organizations, government bodies, and private sector companies to expand the reach of the program.

The Paisa4Plates initiative, launched in collaboration with Royal Caribbean Hotels, is set to address critical issues of hunger and homelessness in India. With over 120 hotels participating, the program aims to foster empathy and consciousness among guests while supporting local causes. For more information, visit www.baljee.co.uk/4plates.
