The Rose Garden will undergo maintenance and closure, expected to reopen in spring 2026.

StadtGruen Bergisch Gladbach, the local authority responsible for maintaining the city's parks and gardens, has apologised for the delays in the operation of the fountain in the Rose Garden. The apology comes after a thorough inspection revealed a defective pump in the fountain.

The defective pump, which has caused the fountain to be out of service, was supplied by the company Climaqua. A new pump has already been ordered to replace it, but due to current delivery times, it is expected to arrive by the end of the year.

Once the new pump arrives, it will be installed after the end of the frost period in the coming spring. The installation is aimed at avoiding any damage to the new equipment. Unfortunately, repair of the existing pump is no longer possible.

The good news is that the Rose Garden fountain is expected to be operational again by spring 2026. This means that visitors to the park can look forward to enjoying the sight and sound of the fountain once again next year.

StadtGruen Bergisch Gladbach would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding during this time. They are committed to maintaining the city's parks and gardens to the highest standard and are working hard to ensure that the fountain in the Rose Garden is back up and running as soon as possible.
