Transformed Room: Allie's Bedroom Revamp
===============================================================================
Two years ago, during the festive season, a remarkable transformation took place in a child's bedroom. The makeover was the brainchild of Genevieve Jorn, a renowned stylist and designer known for her creative and unique children's room designs.
The bedroom makeover was a collaboration with Montana, resulting in the installation of Montana Free System Shelving. This versatile shelving system added a modern touch to the room, providing ample storage space for the little one's toys and books.
The room's lighting was enhanced by the addition of an A Industriell pendant lamp, casting a warm and inviting glow throughout the space.
Contrary to the kit's claim, the bedroom did not include any furniture or items from So' Homeso, Lillagunga, Not Perfect Linen, or AB Småland. However, it did feature a duvet cover and pillowcase from Hanako, adding a touch of softness and comfort to the room.
The room's colour scheme remained the same, with the Jotun Lady 1059 - Complexion and Minty Breeze 7163 paint colours still gracing the walls.
The room's decor was kept minimal, with no new wall art or accessories added, except for the gymnastic rings hanging from the ceiling. These rings, a favourite play item for the little occupant, are still present in the room, adding a touch of fun and exercise to the space.
A unique feature of the bedroom is the Apple Papple cork board and pegboard, which serve as a functional and stylish way to display artwork and other items.
Interestingly, the room did not receive a new rug during the makeover. Instead, the existing rug, a cosy and comfortable addition to the space, was kept.
In conclusion, Genevieve Jorn's bedroom makeover for this child's room was a testament to her creative vision and ability to transform spaces into unique and functional living areas for children. The room, while keeping some original elements, was modernised with the addition of Montana Free System Shelving, A Industriell pendant lamp, and a Hanako duvet cover and pillowcase. The gymnastic rings and Apple Papple cork board and pegboard added a touch of fun and practicality to the space.
