Transforming Tomorrow: Turkmenistan's Visionary Exhibit
The Turkmenistan Pavilion, located in the Empowering Lives zone at Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai, is set to open its doors on April 13, 2025, and run for six months until October 13, 2025. The pavilion, themed "Inspiring a Better Tomorrow," showcases a captivating fusion of central Asian traditions and leading technology.
The design of the pavilion, reminiscent of the Karakum Desert that covers about 70% of the nation's land, is a rounded triangle, symbolising "circulation," "sustainability," and "flow of life." The exterior features a massive screen displaying scenes of people living in harmony with nature.
As you step inside, you are greeted by three floors, each with a unique theme: the past, present, and future on the first floor; innovation on the second floor; and culture on the third floor.
The cultural heritage and history floor offers a glimpse into Turkmenistan's extensive history and rich cultural heritage, with collections of Turkmen carpets and traditional folk crafts on display. The technological and economic achievements floor showcases Turkmenistan's progress in sustainable development and industry.
The national cuisine floor invites guests to savour samples of Turkmenistan's unique flavours. The pavilion is constructed using environmentally friendly materials, reinforcing the theme of sustainability.
On Monday, April 14, Turkmenistan marks its national day at the Expo National Day Hall. The pavilion's exhibits are organized in a way that provides a comprehensive and engaging experience, covering Turkmenistan's cultural, technological, and culinary highlights.
