UAE Launches Emirates Villages Run Series in Year of Community 2025
The Emirati Council for Balanced Development has launched the Emirates Villages Run Series, a significant event in the Year of Community 2025. The series is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court and son of the UAE President. The runs are open to all, promoting inclusivity and a safe environment, with a total prize pool of AED500,000.
The series, organized in partnership with ADNOC and other entities, consists of seven races held across the UAE from October to December. It aims to showcase the nation's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage, using sport as a bridge to strengthen community bonds. Each event will feature traditional Emirati performances, highlighting national identity and boosting local tourism. The initiative reflects the leadership's focus on fostering unity, volunteerism, and shared responsibility.
The Emirates Villages Run Series is set to bring communities together, celebrating the UAE's rich heritage and promoting a sense of national pride. With its inclusive approach and substantial prize pool, the series is expected to attract a wide range of participants, further enhancing the Year of Community 2025.
