Warm weather approaches Munich this season

The German Weather Service has shared their forecast for the coming days in Munich, revealing a stretch of warm and sunny conditions.

Over the weekend, Munich residents can expect milder nights, with temperatures not dropping below 16 or 17 degrees, a welcome relief after the cooler evenings of late. However, the specifics of the forecast remain undisclosed.

As we move into September, there's a possibility of experiencing beautiful and even hot days in Munich. This could well be the last high-summer stretch of the year, marking the end of the traditional summer season. Yet, it's important to note that such determinations often require longer-term meteorological outlooks or seasonal forecasts, which are not included in the current data.

Currently, Munich is basking in its most beautiful summer phase of the year. The past weeks' rain is a distant memory, and the city is once again flowing onto its terraces, into swimming pools, and beer gardens.

Looking ahead, the weather forecast predicts very high temperatures for the next ten days, with only vague signs of precipitation. The wind on Saturday is expected to be light to moderate, turning to northwest.

For the coming week, Munich is set to remain warm, with high temperatures. The forecast for Saturday predicts partly cloudy sunshine with temperatures between 29 and 34 degrees.

In nearby regions such as South Tyrol, similar weather patterns are being experienced, with temperatures between 33° and 37°C and some afternoon cumulus clouds with isolated thunderstorms possible. This suggests a continuation of summer-like conditions next week.

However, whether this is the final heat wave or last high-summer spell of 2025 in Munich is yet to be confirmed. Further specialized weather forecasts would be needed for that seasonal outlook. For now, Munich continues to enjoy a summer atmosphere throughout the city.

With the promising weather forecast, Munich residents are encouraged to embrace outdoor-living, with temperatures expected to reach up to 34 degrees on Saturday. A perfect opportunity to enhance home-and-garden lifestyle during the mid to late September period, as the city continues to bask in the last high-summer stretch of the year.
